12. Reviewing the Memory
The Coag-Sense meter stores up to 2000 patient test results and 500
control test results, along with the respective date and time of the test
performed. When the memory has reached maximum storage capacity,
the oldest result is automatically deleted and gets replaced with the most
recent result. This meter records all test results, i.e. patient tests, control
and Stat tests. To avoid the loss of stored test results, the User may export
recorded results to an electronic medical record system by connecting to
middleware software or directly to a LIS or EHR system using POCT1-A
protocol. Memory is not lost if there is a break in power for any length of
time. Test results stored in the Memory can only be erased by
CoaguSense technical support.
