2. System Description
The Coag-Sense Prothrombin Time (PT)/INR System is used for
quantitative measurement of INR (International Normalized Ratio) based
on a Prothrombin Time (PT) response to monitor the effect of therapy with
vitamin K antagonists like Coumadin
®
(warfarin). The system uses fresh,
capillary whole blood.
