Field Description
Attain DNS
Automatically
Select this item if you want to use the DNS servers obtained by the WAN interface via the
auto-configuration mechanism.
Set DNS Manually Select this item to configure up to three DNS IP addresses.
Apply Changes
Set new DNS relay configuration. New parameters will take effect after save into
flash memory and reboot the system. See section “Admin” for save details.
5.5.2.2 Dynamic DNS
Each time your device connects to the Internet, your ISP assigns a different IP
address to your device. In order for you or other users to access your device
from the WAN-side, you need to manually track the IP that is currently used.
The Dynamic DNS features allow you to register your device with a DNS server
and access your device each time using the same host name. The Dynamic DNS
page allows you to enable/disable the Dynamic DNS feature.
