Common Connectors for both UF & VX

1. MIDI THRU – The MIDI THRU connector is used to send MIDI signals from one

expansion board to another (if there is more than one board fitted in your keyboard)

2. JP1 – This jumper setting is used depending on the type of microphone you connect

to the Plugiator ASX.

The Plugiator ASX board is designed to work with both professional balanced and

unbalanced microphone inputs.

For balanced microphone connections use a standard 1/4th inch TRS connector.

For unbalanced microphone connections use a standard 1/4th inch TS connector.

For users who wish to connect a multimedia headset microphone (which commonly

use 1/8" TRS connectors with Tip and Ring internally shorted) Jumper JP1 must be

removed.

By default the ASX board is fitted with the JP1 to work with professional microphones.
