Eight Volume + Eight Send #4 Levels

eight tracks in the current bank

Function Switches
There are 16 switches positioned directly below
each fader. Switches #1–8 control different func-
tions depending on the active preset. Switches
#9–16 have the same functionality for all pre-
sets.
Switch Mode Determines Functionality
for Switches #1–8
In all preset modes except “16 Plug-In Controls”
(Preset #2), switches #1–8 control the function
defined by one of the following switch modes:
Mute Changes Mute state of tracks.
Solo Changes Solo state of tracks.
Track Record-Arming Changes Record status of
tracks.
Selection Selects tracks for editing and other
functions.
Memory Location Toggles between Recall and
Set Memory Locations.
To cycle through the switch modes:
Press the Change Mode switch (Switch 16) to
cycle through the switch modes.
While pressing the OPTION switch (Switch 9),
press the Change Mode switch (Switch 16) to cy-
cle through the switch modes in reverse order.
“Sixteen Plug-In Controls” Preset
Functionality for Switches #1–8
In the “Sixteen Plug-In Controls” preset (Preset
#2), the faders control plug-in parameters, while
the first eight switches control the following
transport functions:
Switch 1: Rewind
Switch 2: Fast Forward
Switch 3: Stop
Switch 4: Play
Switch 5: Record
Switch 6: toggles Online or Offline status
Switch 7: (Not Used)
Switch 8: (Not Used)
SHIFT (Switch 10)+Switch 1: Return-To-Zero
SHIFT (Switch 10)+Switch 2: Go-To-End
SHIFT (Switch 10)+Switch 3: Abort Record
SHIFT (Switch 10)+Switch 4: Half-Speed Play-
back
Since there are no switch LEDs on the
PC–1600, there is no indication which
switch mode is currently active.
While pressing the CONTROL switch
(Switch 11), press the Record switch to cycle
through the various Record modes (Loop
Record, Destructive Record, and Quick-
Punch).
