4. FIRST AID MEASURES

First aid measures

Eye Contact

Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water, also under the eyelids. If symptoms persist,

call a physician.

Skin Contact

Wash with soap and water. In case of contact with liquefied gas, thaw frosted

parts with lukewarm water. Clothing frozen to the skin should be thawed before

being removed. IF ON CLOTHING: rinse immediately contaminated clothing and

skin with plenty of water before removing clothes.

Inhalation

Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is

difficult, (trained personnel should) give oxygen.

Ingestion

Do NOT induce vomiting. Drink plenty of water. If symptoms persist, call a

physician.

Ensure that medical personnel are aware of the material(s) involved, take

precautions to protect themselves and prevent spread of contamination.
