1 INTRODUCTION CloseBy Card is a credit-card sized device that may be used for asset tracking and contact tracing applications. Physically, the card is 54mm x 86mm x 4.5mm in size, and it contains an ultra-lowpower Bluetooth Low Energy radio with a long-life battery. CloseBy Card has a button, and two indicator lights (LEDs) – one green and one red. The button is used for activation of the card, battery status check, and enablement of the secure download mode.
SECURE DOWNLOAD The secure download mode of your CloseBy Card must be activated before you can retrieve its logged data. To activate secure download mode, press and hold the activation button until the red indicator begins to blink.
