ELIMINATE all ignition sources (no smoking, flares, sparks or flames in immediate area).
Do not touch or walk through spilled material.
Stop leak if you can do it without risk.
Use water spray to reduce vapors or divert vapor cloud drift.
DO NOT GET WATER on spilled material or inside containers.
In the case of a leaking battery: Before attempting clean up, refer to hazard data given above.
Small spills may be absorbed with non-reactive absorbent and placed in suitable, covered, labelled
containers. Prevent large spills from entering sewers or waterways. Contact emergency services
and supplier for advice.
Do not discharge into lakes, streams, ponds or public waters.

Handling
and
Storage
Do not puncture or incinerate container. Avoid short-circuiting the battery. Avoid mechanical
damage to the battery. Do not open or disassemble. Battery may explode or cause burns if
disassembled, crushed or exposed to fire or high temperatures. Do not immerse in liquids. Use
good industrial hygiene practices in handling this material.
Keep this material away from food, drink and animal feed. Keep away from heat, sparks, and
flame. Store in a cool dry place below 30°C (86°F) Do not store below -20°C.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND PETS.
