4. FIRST AID
MEASURES
First aid measures
General Advice Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance.
Eye contact Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes.
Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Do not rub affected
area. Keep eye wide open while rinsing. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
Skin contact Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical
advice. If skin irritation persists, call a physician.
Inhalation Remove to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, (trained personnel should) give oxygen. Call a
physician or Poison Control Center immediately.
Ingestion Drink 1 or 2 glasses of water. Do not induce vomiting without medical advice. Call a
physician or Poison Control Center immediately.
Self-protection of the first aider Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Use personal protective equipment as required.
