2.2 Configuration
To configure the Network Bridge,theC‐BusToolkit  must be used tocreatenewnetworks and
editunitaddresses.WhenconfiguringtheNetworkBridgeyoumustensurethat:
 • TheUnitAddressontheNearSideofthebridge,istheNetworkAddressontheFarSide
oftheBridge.
 • TheUnitAddressontheFarSideofthebridge,istheNetworkAddresson theNearSide
oftheBridge.


The near and far side of a Network Bridge are dependant on the point of reference of
where the PCI or CNI are connected. So looking from the interface the first  side of the
NetworkBridgeseenisthenearside.
