Control Button Examples
5.1.1 Control Buttons
The notion of a Control button is the easiest to understand. You touch a Control
button and something happens. You can turn on a light, start a sprinkler, turn
up the speed on a fan or open a blind. A Control button can have the name of
the device it controls written on it, or a picture.
As an illustration, imagine that we wanted to have one button to open and blind
and one to close the blind. We could have a picture of what the button does
and some words on the button or just the words and a little indicator:
5.1.2 Navigation Buttons
A navigation button lets you go from one screen to the next one in a way that
makes sense to you. If you had a screen showing the house and you wanted
to go to a particular room in the house you could have a button with that name
or a little picture of the room.
