Term Denition

Page A page is an assortment of soft keys and graphics that represents something understandable

to the user.

Component A graphical object displayed on a C-Touch screen. Components include soft keys, images, text,

clocks, temperature sensors and other items.

Backlight The back of the screen is illuminated to make it visible when it is dark. This illumination

is called backlight.

Input Unit An input unit is a C-Bus unit which the user interacts with to make things happen on a C-Bus

Network (C-Touch itself, a key input unit or passive infrared sensor are examples)

Output Unit An output unit delivers power to loads; a relay and dimmer are examples.

Control A component that can be used to turn loads on or off or change their level.
