Triggering
A particular Group Address and Level may be used to trigger a scene. The
triggering Group Address and level are entered in the Scene Editor by
selection from the proffered options. If the Scene does not need to be
triggered from a remote unit, this is left as “unused”. Typically, a particular
Group Address on the Enable Application (number CB hex) will enable the
Schedule when it is at 100%.
Note: A group address needs to be set to the relevant
trigger level, it is not sufficient to ramp through it.
Actions
The actions are the C-Bus events that the Scene will execute.
A new action is added with the Add button. At the bottom of the dialogue
box, the desired Group, Level and Ramp Rate are entered.
An alternative method of setting the level is to adjust the brightness of a
dimmed globe by eye for a particular visual effect manually. Once set, the
To Current Level radio button is used to store the setting in the action
being programmed. (Naturally, the computer running the C-Touch
configuration software must be connected to the network in question for
this to work).
Another action may be added, by entering new values and selecting the
Y
es button again.
An action is deleted by selecting the required action from the list and
clicking on the Delete button.
An action is edited by selecting the required action from the list and
clicking on the Edit button. Alternatively it is possible to simply double click
the item in the list.
The order in which actions occur may be changed by selecting the
required one from the list and clicking on the Up or Down buttons until it is
in the correct position.
All changes are completed by clicking on the OK button. Clicking on the
Cancel will exit without making changes to the Scene.
