Wiser Home Control is the next
generation of C-Bus. The system
delivers an innovative level of
functionality and connectivity
throughout the home by seamlessly
connecting different technologies,
including: lighting control, security,
air conditioning, audio-visual
equipment, media players,
motorised blinds and curtains.
Wiser’s consistent and intuitive
user-interface also allows you to
operate everything with a simple
touch. For example, lights are
turned on or off with a light bulb
icon; sound systems via a speaker
icon; and sweep fans by a fan icon,
etc.
The Wiser system architecture
provides the ideal platform for
supporting some of the most
sought after features in the
automation market. With Ethernet
and Internet capabilities, Wiser
offers features not previously
available in C-Bus devices, such
as the monitoring and control of a
home environment both locally or
remotely over the Internet.
The C-Bus DMX gateway is a new Clipsal product that allows the transfer
of information, between a C-Bus network and controlled devices, using the
DMX-512 protocol.
It is a one-way gateway that permits C-Bus input devices (such as wall
switches, touch screens and PIRs) to control lighting devices with DMX
interface capability; from theatrical lighting equipment and associated
house lights, to third party lighting such as LED downlights and
LED strip lights.
The DIN-rail mounted unit maps up to 12 C-Bus group addresses to up to
512 DMX slots.
