We design and manufacture consumer products with the safety of you, our valued customer, foremost in mind. In addition we ask that you exercise a degree of care when using any electrical appliance and adhere to the following precautions.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. • Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
• Keep the unit away from fire, flammable gas, combustible products or vapours, and corrosive substances. • Do not operate the unit without filters. • When transporting the air purifier, always hold the handles on the side of the unit. • To protect against fire, electric shock and personal injury, do not immerse cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquid. • Do not place on or near a hot gas, electric burner or heating appliance.
• Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance. • It is recommended to regularly inspect the appliance. Do not use the appliance if power cord, power plug or appliance becomes damaged in anyway. Return the entire appliance to the nearest authorised Cli-Mate Service Centre for examination and/ or repair. • Any maintenance other than cleaning should be performed at an authorised Cli-Mate Service Centre. • This appliance is recommended for household use only.

Functions PRODUCT FEATURES Filters The 3-layer filter contains a Pre-filter, a HEPA filter and an activated carbon filter. • The Pre-filter traps larger particles such as dust, pet hair and large-sized allergens. • The HEPA filter (Grade H12) removes 99.5% of particles as small as 0.3 microns and greater from the air. It is capable of removing smoke, dust, pollen, pet dander, mould spores, bacteria and allergens in the air.

WARNING - KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN DISPLAY PANEL Swallowing may lead to serious injury in as little as 2 hours or death, due to chemical burns and potential perforation of the oesophagus. If you suspect your child has swallowed or inserted a button battery immediately call the 24-hour Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26 for fast, expert advice. Examine devices and make sure the battery compartment is correctly secured, e.g. that the screw or other mechanical fastener is tightened.

The power indicator light will change to green when this feature is activated. This function will lock the control buttons on the unit and remote control. NOTE To deactivate the CHILD LOCK function, hold the button on the remote control for 3 seconds until the POWER indicator LED light on the unit changes to blue.
Care & Cleaning Before carrying out any maintenance or cleaning of the unit, make sure that the power to the unit is turned off and power cord is unplugged from the power socket. EXTERNAL CLEANING OF UNIT 1. Do not clean unit with any abrasive cleaning agents or solvents. 2. Do not apply any water directly to the unit of cleaning. 3. Only use a soft clean cloth for all cleaning purposes. 4. Clean the air inlet and outlet with a dry cloth, soft brush or vacuum cleaner.
