2.Disassembly
Removing the LCD
1. Remove the battery (page 2 - 6), HDD (page 2 - 7), keyboard (page 2 - 9), system memory (page 2 - 8 & page 2 -
10), CPU (page 2 - 11), modems (page 2 - 12), LCD assembly (page 2 - 13) and inverter (page 2 - 16).
2. Lift the LCD assembly off the back panel module (
Figure 2 - 13a).
3. Remove screws - from the LCD assembly (
Figure 2 - 13b).
4. Separate the LCD from the left and right brackets (
Figure 2 - 13b).
