Removing the Inverter

1. Remove the battery (page 2 - 6), HDD (page 2 - 7), keyboard (page 2 - 9), system memory (page 2 - 8 & page 2 -

10), CPU (page 2 - 11), modems (page 2 - 12) and LCD assembly (page 2 - 13).

2. Remove the rubber covers and screws - from the LCD (

Figure 2 - 12a).

3. Run your finger around the middle of the frame to carefully unsnap the LCD front panel module from the back

(

Figure 2 - 12b).

4. Disconnect the cable at point from the inverter (

Figure 2 - 12c).

5. Lift the inverter off the LCD assembly and separate the inverter and mylar cover (

Figure 2 - 12d).
