2 - 14 Removing the LCD Assembly
2.Disassembly
3. Remove screws - and disconnect cables - (Figure 2 - 10a) from the mainboard.
4. Push the LCD back as far as it will go and carefully remove the left and right hinge covers.
5. Remove the
2 screws & from under the left hinge cover, and screw from under the right hinge cover.
6. Carefully remove the LCD from the computer (
Figure 2 - 10b).

a. Disconnect the ca-
bles, and remove
the 5 screws. Push
the LCD back and
remove the hinge
covers, and 3
screws.
b. Lift the LCD assem-
bly off the bottom
case.

