Removing the Battery

1. Shut the computer down and turn it over.

2. Locate the battery release latches and (Figure 2 - 1a).

3. Latch should slide to the right and remain in place, and you will need to hold latch in place as you slide the

battery out towards you.

4. Slide the battery out.

Sequence

a. Locate the battery

release latches.

b. Slide latch 1 to the

right, then slide and

hold latch 2 to the

right and hold.

c. Slide the battery out.
