Optional Modules

Installing the 802.11a+b+g Wireless LAN

Installation procedure for computers with Bluetooth modem and wireless LAN module.

1. Turn the computer OFF.

2. Remove the keyboard (page 2 - 11), shielding plate (page 2 - 12).

3. Gently pull latches & in the direction of the arrows and carefully place the wireless LAN module in the

mainboard’s module socket.

4. Connect the longer antenna cable to the “MAIN” socket of the wireless LAN module .

5. Replace the shielding plate (page 2 - 12) and keyboard (page 2 - 11) by reversing the disassembly procedure.

Note: If the computer

is using a standard

MDC modem mod-

ule, the shorter

(MAIN/ J1) and

longer (AUX/ J2) an-
