AC/DC adapter
AC POWER LED FAILS
Under normal conditions, plugging in the AC/DC adapter makes the AC Power LED light up. If it fails to light up, it
is possible that the AC/DC adapter is malfunctioning. If you think this is the case, try the following:
• Make sure the power cord to the adapter is securely plugged into a properly grounded socket.
• Make sure the adapter is completely connected to the adapter port on the computer.
• Check the adapter’s contacts.
AC/DC ADAPTER
The AC/DC adapter serves as both the system power source and the battery pack charger. Check the adapter’s
contacts to see if the AC/DC adapter has failed. (Figure 4-2)
