3 Check before installation

Water drainage and supply
Connection of the water supply and water drainage must be carried out in accordance with the
applicable directives DIN 1988 / EN1717 and local regulations. After placing the bathtub, the
installer must check the leaktightness of the bath.
Check before mounting:
• Pay attention to the door width in the room where the bath is to be installed: is there
enough witdth for bath to be carried into the room?
• The bath may not be installed outdoors.
• The bath must be mounted on a floor suited for wet rooms.
• The floor must be strong enough to carry at least 550 kg / m². The floor must be level
and flat.
• Due to the design of the bath, a drain must be available in the floor. A drain in the wall
is not possible.
• The drain connection must be carried out in accordance with the currently valid standard
DIN 1986 / EN12056 and the local regulations.
• Before installation, the product must be checked for transport damage. No transport or
surface damage will be accepted after installation.
• The construction method of the bath may not be adjusted. Use only original parts.
• Only materials suited for the installation of a bathtub may be used!
• During assembly, gloves must be worn to prevent crushing and cutting wounds.
• No silicone containing acids may be used. The use of silicone containing acids may
damage the product.
• To fill the gaps between the elements, we recommend anti-fungal sanitary silicone. The
silicone may discolour after a while. If cleaning does not give sufficient results, the filling
must be replaced. This replacement is not covered by the warranty.
