About Lights, General Step 1:Our Parts List and Bike Tips Preparation Erica / Krista / Sevina Technical: Clearwater Lights are very bright LED auxiliary lights. Do not use these with oncoming traffic present unless the dimmer is turned down all the way. Krista, Erica and Sevina are designed as off road only light’s due to the powerful light output and specific beam pattern they boast.
Installation Overview Please take a moment to review this wiring diagram before you start installation. Ensure you have all of the components ready for installation. IMPORTANT: Be sure to route wires so that they cannot become tangled or caught in either the suspension or the steering assembly.
Bike Preparation and Disassembly 1. First, ensure the the motorcycle is parked on hard, flat pavement or concrete so that the bike will be stable during installation. Utilize a center stand if possible. 2. Removal of the headlight surround cover is required for the installation of Clearwater Lights. The headlight cover is held by four rubber plugs and can be removed by pulling straight forward. 3. The skid plate and its (6) T40 Torx screws must be removed.
Wiring - Installing the Harness & Jumper 5. We recommend the Clearwater Lights harness be installed and fastened towards the front of the bike under the front faring. Use the supplied zip ties to secure in place. 6. Unplug the headlight connector from the back of the headlight. Plug the supplied Clearwater Lights headlight jumper into the back of the headlight. Plug the OEM headlight connector into the Clearwater Lights jumper. The jumper acts as a pass through. 7.

Use the supplied ‘L’ bracket to position the dimmer in a comfortable orientation. The wire from the dimmer should be routed to the Clearwater Lights harness and plugged into the mating green connector. 9. Mount the supplied switch on the handlebars and follow the wiring diagram on page 3 for more wiring details. 10.
Mounting the Lights 11. Follow the exploded diagrams below for mounting and assembly of your Clearwater Lights. Pro Tip: A dab of loctite is a good idea.
Alignment / Grommet Precaution Aligning The Lights: Clearwater Lights are designed as auxiliary lights, adjustment is up to the user depending on their needs. Ask an assistant to help you with this procedure. Make sure the bike is on level ground and have an assistant sit on the bike. We have found that levelling the lights works well to limit glare for oncoming traffic while maintaining optimal light projection. You may find that a slight downward angle (a couple degrees) is helpful.
Step 1: Parts List and Bike Preparation Final Steps After levelling the lights, ensuring wire routing is done safely, and connecting the power wires (positive on first) and fuse to the battery, start the bike to test the lights. All steps are complete.
