Backlighting
The display and keys light when you lift the handset from
the base or when you press handset keys.
After 20 seconds, the backlighting turns off. To turn it on

Home screen
The home screen is the phone display that you see when
the phone is at rest or when you press

Icons
Signal strength Blinks if the handset is out
of range of the base.
Battery strength Black = fully charged
White = depleted.
