Answering machine
Symptom Solutions
When listening to
messages, volume is
too low or too high.
During listening:
• Base: Adjust or
on the base.
• Handset:
Volume: Adjust and on
the side of the handset.
Tone: Press
until you
hear the tone that you prefer.
Consistent handset settings:

Incomplete caller
messages occur.
The memory is full. Delete some
or all messages (
page 106).
I cannot recall my
remote access
security code.
The default code is 000. If you
personalized the code, you can
hear the current personalized
code (
page 91).
