Personalize the system PIN
You must enter the system personal identier number
(PIN) to restore handset default settings or to register and
unregister an additional handset to the base.
This section instructs you on how to change from the
default system PIN to a personalized PIN. The factory
default system PIN is 0000.
Note: Carefully consider whether a personalized system
PIN is necessary. If you are concerned that you might
forget your personalized system PIN, store a record of
it in a secure location. If you cannot recall or nd your
personalized system PIN, you cannot perform functions
that require it.
To personalize the system PIN
1. Press beneath Menu on the screen.
2. Press and scroll to Setting, and then press
.
3. Press and scroll to System PIN, and then
press .
Old PIN: appears on the screen.
