The IR/RS232 Settings tab allows you to configure the communications settings used to interface with the
external system. These settings are dependent on the external system. Consult the external systems manual
for the appropriate settings.
Table 5-62 provides information on the fields on the IR/RS232 Settings tab.
5. After adjusting information, select Apply.
6. Select the Labels tab.
The Labels tab for the ControLinX hosting an Aprilaire displays in the right side of the window (see Figure 5-
74).

Tab Selection Description
IR/RS232 Settings Service Name A display field used to identify the stream name.
Driver The driver used for the connected device.
Driver File Designates which Lua File is loaded onto the ControLinX.
This will not change unless a custom driver file is being used.
Control Type
Defined by the specific product driver.
Enable Service Enables or disables functionality.
Baud Rate Information provided by the manufacturer of the attached
device.
Data Bits Information provided by the manufacturer of the attached
device.
Parity Information provided by the manufacturer of the attached
device.
Stop Bits Information provided by the manufacturer of the attached
device.
