The IR/RS232 Settings tab provides more detailed information about the RS232 settings used to
communicate with the RadioRA system and allows the installer to name the device.
Table 5-18 provides information on the fields on the IR/RS232 Settings tab.
3. After adjusting information, select Apply.
4. Select the Labels tab.
The Labels tab for the ControLinX hosting a RadioRA displays in the right side of the window (see Figure 5-
29).

The Labels tab is used to provide more descriptive names to the RadioRA phantom buttons. The new
descriptive names are used throughout the DigiLinX Dealer Setup program and are used on the TouchLinX
interface or any browser-based interface.

Tab Selection Description
IR/RS232 Settings Service Name A field used to change the name of the device.
Driver The driver used for the connected device.
Driver File The driver file used to communicate with the device.
Control Type
Defined by the specific product driver.
Baud Rate Information provided by the manufacturer of the attached
device.
Data Bits Information provided by the manufacturer of the attached
device.
Parity Information provided by the manufacturer of the attached
device.
Stop Bits Information provided by the manufacturer of the attached
device.
