Appendix B:  Troubleshooting 
This section describes common troubleshooting tasks. 
Can’t set or change peer for a device 
When you try to specify or change a device’s peer using the Web interface and click Apply, the 
page reloads but the new peer data is not applied. 
Resolution 
Make sure that the device does not have an active session. From the Web interface, click 
Diagnostics > Session Control. If the Connection State is Connected or Connection Pending, 
click Disconnect. You can now click Configuration > Session to set your peer. See 
6.5 “Specifying a Device’s Peer” on page 68 for more information about setting a peer. The 
picture below shows the Session Control page.
