Scan
Scan per forms a fre quency scan of the fac tory-defined and any
set-up user-programmable groups in or der to find the group
with the high est num ber of clear re ceive chan nels. Af ter about
20-30 sec onds, the group with the high est num ber of clear re --
ceive chan nels will be dis played. The next best group and so
forth may be ac cessed with the [DOWN] and [UP] arow but --
tons.

Press and hold [MENU] + [SET] for three seconds to en -
ter Scan. The base sta tion will now start search ing all
groups for the ones with the great est num ber of re ceiver
chan nels clear of in ter fer ence.

Scan will dis play the group that has the most in ter fer ence
free re ceive chan nels. These clear chan nels are dis played
on the right half of the screen. Press [SET] to place the
base sta tion on this group and re turn to the op er at ing
screen. The first four re ceive chan nels dis played will be
the ones set for the group. The [UP] / [DOWN] but tons
may be used to se lect the next best group and so forth.
