BeltSta on
BeltSta on will not power up
• Con rm that ba ery(ies) is (are) installed correctly.
• When using a Lithium-Polymer rechargeable ba ery, ensure that the ba ery is fully charged.
• When using alkaline AA ba eries, ensure that ba eries are fresh and are all facing the same way. Note the illustra on
in the ba ery compartment sec on.
• Press and hold the Power bu on on the back of the BeltSta on for two seconds to power ON.
BeltSta on will not pair with BaseSta on
• Con rm that the BaseSta on you are pairing with is powered ON and in Opera onal Mode, and the BeltSta on is
powered OFF. Connect the pairing cable from the BaseSta on to the BeltSta on. Turn the BeltSta on power ON.
The pairing process takes approximately four seconds.
• If pairing is successful, the message “Pairing Complete” will appear on the BeltSta on LCD for approximately ve
seconds and the BeltSta on name will appear in the rst available slot on the BaseSta on LCD. The BaseSta on
name will appear on the BeltSta on LCD. If pairing is not successful no message will appear.
• If pairing is not successful, try to pair a di erent BeltSta on with the BaseSta on. If neither of the BeltSta ons
will pair, subs tute a new Pairing cable.
• If successful pairing any BeltSta on with the BaseSta on, try the following procedure on the BeltSta on that will
not pair:
» Restore memory se ngs to Factory Defaults by pressing MENU
» Select “Belt Se ngs,” select “Tech Menu,” press ENTER to proceed
» Select “Set Defaults,” select
Restore Factory Defaults, press ENTER to con rm and press MENU to exit
• If s ll not successful, repeat the above procedure but select
Clear Memory to delete all memory se ngs, pairings,
and user se ngs. See “Factory Defaults” sec on for more detail.
• If no BeltSta on will pair with the BaseSta on, reset the BaseSta on memory to “Factory Defaults”.
• The nal op on is to select “Clear Memory” to fully reset the BaseSta on. All BeltSta on pairings will be lost with the
“Clear Memory” op on. See “Factory Defaults” sec on for more detail.
BeltSta on will not log into BaseSta on
• Con rm that the BeltSta on is powered ON and has a ba ery with ample charge.
• Con rm that the proper BaseSta on is selected on the BeltSta on’s “Select Base” menu.
• Con rm that there is an available slot on the BaseSta on.
• Check Sta c and Dynamic slot display se ngs on the BaseSta on. If Sta c is selected check the BeltSta on slot
assignment.
• Determine if any BeltSta on is logged onto the BaseSta on.
• Re-pair the BeltSta on to the BaseSta on.
• A empt to log into another BaseSta on, if available.
• Follow the memory reset procedure under “Factory Defaults.”
