Remove Ba eries from BeltSta ons
Remove the ba ery cover from the back of the BeltSta on by pressing lightly on the thumb grooves and sliding
towards the bo om. Hold the BeltSta on in one hand with the ba ery compartment facing downward over the open
palm of your other hand. Firmly tap the BeltSta on against the palm of your open hand and the ba ery will fall into
your open hand. Follow the same procedure for AA ba eries.
Install the Rechargeable Ba ery
The gold ba ery contacts must mate with the contacts in the ba ery compartment. If the ba ery is not properly
seated, the cover will not close easily.
Charge the Ba ery
Connect the plug-in ba ery charger (included with BeltSta on) to a standard wall outlet and to the Mini-USB
connector on the BeltSta on. This connector is located under the rubberized access cover on the side of the
BeltSta on. The ba eries will charge from completely empty to a full charge in about 2¾ hours. The ba eries will not
overcharge. The BeltSta on remains func onal during charging.
Install AA Alkaline Ba eries
Remove the ba ery cover on back of BeltSta on. Insert (3) AA alkaline ba eries according to the polariza on shown
inside the ba ery compartment. Replace the ba ery cover. All ba eries install with the posi ve terminal toward the
side with Mini-USB charger connector.
Use the 5-Bay Ba ery Charger
Plug charger into local AC power source and place up to  ve rechargeable, Lithium-Polymer ba eries into the
charger. Charging is complete when the indicator turns green. Re-charge  me is 2½ hours and the charge provides
approximately nine hours of opera on
Navigate the BaseSta on Menu
Press MENU to open the Main Menu. MENU also func ons as an Escape key. Turn the Volume control to scroll
through the menu. To select, press ENT or press the Volume control. The keys numbered 1 through 5 under the LCD
screen take you directly to the corresponding BeltSta on menu. If no entry is made within 3 minutes, the display will
automa cally return to the Opera on Screen.
Navigate the BeltSta on Menu
Press MENU to open the Main Menu. MENU also func ons as an Escape key. Turn the Volume control to scroll
through the menu. To select, press ENT or press the Volume control. If no entry is made within a few seconds, the
display will automa cally return to the Opera on Screen.
