BeltSta on Overview
1- Volume- CH A/B and CH C/D
In Opera onal Mode, turning the Volume control adjusts the volume of the
audio. Volume indicators appear on the display during adjustment and are
expressed in Decibels (dB).
The Volume control has an op on to be set to “Volume Press” where it
requires a “press and turn” to adjust the volume level. The “Volume Press”
op on can be adjusted under the “Set Controls” sec on of the BeltSta on
menu.
Pressing the Volume control “CH A/B” and “CH C/D” changes the selected
intercom between channels A or B and C or D respec vely. The Volume
control has a channel “Delay Switch” op on which requires the knob to be
pressed and held slightly longer in order to switch from one channel to the
other. This feature can be enabled under the “Set Controls” sec on of the
BeltSta on menu.
In Menu Mode, turning either Volume control allows the user to scroll the
op ons of the current menu screen. Pressing the Volume control selects
the op on.
2- Stage Bu on
The Stage Announce (STAGE) bu on re-routes the microphone signal of the BeltSta on from the selected intercom channel
to the BaseSta on rear panel Stage Announce (SA) output connector. If desired, when this bu on is pressed, a momentary
relay contact closure is made at the Relay connector.

Pressing the Stage Announce bu on automa cally enables the microphone, regardless of Talk Bu on status. The Stage
bu on se ngs may be adjusted at the Stage Announce menu screen under the “Set Controls” sec on of the BeltSta on
menu.
3- MENU Bu on
Pressing MENU while the BeltSta on is in Opera onal mode will select Menu Mode, and the Main Menu screen will be
displayed. Once in Menu Mode, pressing MENU again will act as an escape key and will back out of the current menu screen
moving the user up one level. Pressing the MENU bu on while at the Main Menu screen will exit Menu Mode and return
to Opera onal mode. The menu can be locked via a “Menu Lock” feature per BeltSta on.
4- ENTER Bu on
The ENTER bu on operates di erently depending on the mode of the BeltSta on. In Menu Mode, pressing the ENTER
bu on selects the current menu op on and is the same as pressing a Volume control. A menu item is not selected un l the
ENTER bu on (or Volume control) is pressed.
The ENTER bu on can also ac vate Wireless ISO (wireless talk around), providing wireless communica on isolated from
any connected wired intercom system.
The ENTER bu on is also one of the bu ons that can be assigned to ac vate a Relay in the BaseSta on. It is possible to
ac vate the Relay whenever the Wireless ISO feature is used.
5- LCD
While in Opera onal Mode, the LCD displays the status of the BeltSta on including the name of the currently communica ng
BaseSta on, RF strength, ba ery level, and other data. The LCD backlight and contrast can be adjusted from the LCD
Adjustments menu screen under the LCD/LED sec on of the BeltSta on menu.
