11.4.3 E-Station
11.4.3.1 Required Equipment
1. E-Station serial interconnect lead.
2. RS232/RS422 adaptor (see Converter cable for I-Station).

3. PC computer with S4 driver or similar installed.
4. E-Station firmware in ‘S’ record format.
11.4.3.2 Upgrade Steps
1. Disconnect the lead between the I-Station and E-Station.
2. Connect the E-Station serial interconnect lead between the E-Station
Expansion In port and the PC serial port.
3. Start S4 driver on the PC.
4. Configure S4 driver as follows:
COM1: (change as required to match a COM port present on the PC)
Baud Rate: 19200**
Parity: None
Data Bits: 8
Stop Bits: One
** Note: The S4 driver baud rate selection down does not show 19200 as an option –
19200 has to be typed into the baud rate field
