3. PC computer with S4 driver or similar installed.
4. I-Station firmware in ‘S’ record format.
11.4.2.2 Upgrade Steps
1. Install the S4 driver application.
InstallCD\3rd_Party_Software\S4DRV\S4DRVWIN.EXE.exe
2. Start S4 driver on the PC.
3. Configure S4 driver as follows:
COM1: (change as required to match a COM port present on the PC)
Baud Rate: 19200**
Parity: None
Data Bits: 8
Stop Bits: One
** Note: The S4 driver baud rate selection down does not show 19200 as an option –
19200 has to be typed into the baud rate field

4. Disconnect the lead between the I-Station and E-Station.(if required).
5. Connect the PC and I-Station together with the RS232 to RS422 converter, via
the Expansion out socket (J1) on the rear of the I-Station.
6. Make sure you use the cable designated for the station panel.
7. Press the rear reset button (see rear panel diagram below) while applying
power to the I-station.
