4 T-Desk Reference Manual
T-Desk Overview
1. BaseStaon Navigaon Pane - all LAN connected BaseStaons will be listed on the le side of the screen in the
BaseStaon Navigaon Pane. Any of the BaseStaons on the LAN can be selected for monitoring or opmizing. The
selected BaseStaon is highlighted in yellow and others are listed on individual buons with a gray background.
A colored ball to the le of the BaseStaon name indicates the status of the LAN connecon – green for a good
connecon and red for a weak connecon. BaseStaons are not required to be named but descripve names make
managing mulple systems easier. You can rename BaseStaons under the Tech Menu tab. The pane will remain
visible at all mes from any tab.
2. Tabs - tabs are ulized throughout T-Desk to jump from screen-to-screen. T-Desk consists of primary system tabs
and then sub-tabs within each screen. The tabs across the top of the screen include the BaseStaon Sengs tab,
the BeltStaon Sengs tab, the Tech Menu tab, and the All Systems tab. By clicking on a tab, you advance to the user
interface screen of that tab. Under each primary system tab, there are a series of sub-tabs which will direct you to
specic system sengs, features, informaon, and individual BeltStaons (in the case of the BeltStaon Sengs tab).
3. Dashboard Status Bar - this is located along the boom of the T-Desk window in every tab with the excepon of
the All Systems tab. In this tab the status bar does not appear. The Dashboard displays a connuous snapshot of
several system-wide sengs as well as hosng a set of “Mic Kill” buons for each intercom channel. All items
are informaonal with the excepon of the “Mic Kill” buons which will disable any open mic that resides on the
associated buon you click (Ch A, Ch B, Ch C, Ch D, or All Ch).
