Aux Levels
The Aux Levels sub-tab allows adjustment to the Aux Out audio levels. The Aux In levels are no longer adjusted at the
BaseStaon; it is controlled via each BeltStaon as Program Volume with individual level control. The Aux Out levels can be
adjusted for all intercom channels (A-D) and are measured in decibels (dB). To enable, move the slider bar to any value other
than “0.” Adjusng the levels to OFF disables the funcon for the corresponding channel.
Aer the relave volumes have been determined, use the “Lock Sliders” check box to sync the slider bars together so that
when one slider is adjusted, the other sliders will follow. This allows adjustment of all sliders together for occasions where the
background noise level changes signicantly. When “Lock Sliders” is checked, it is good pracce to use the lowest value slider
to adjust to a lower level and the highest value slider to adjust to a higher level. Otherwise, if a slider that is set to a lower
level is used to adjust to a higher volume, the lower level slider might push the higher level slider to maximum while the lower
level sliders connue to adjust higher, thus changing the relave levels.
Relays (1-5)
The Relays (1-5) sub-tab controls the 5 relay opons available. Relays can act as Normal relays or in Acve Channel mode.
In Normal Relay Mode, relays 1-5 can be set as normal with any of the trigger opons available on the BeltStaon . However,
in Acve Channel Relay Mode, channels A-D acvate relays 1-4 respecvely. When the talk buon for a channel is pressed, the
relay is closed. Relay 5 is sll available to work with any other trigger opons available as it would in Normal mode.
» Channel A = Relay 1
» Channel B = Relay 2
» Channel C = Relay 3
» Channel D = Relay 4
The BaseStaon relays are congured under the BeltStaon Sengs tab, but when in Acve Channel mode relays are listed as
“Relay # Not Available,” but are sll selectable. If relay is selected while in this state, it will be displayed in red (and with a red
“X”) on the BeltStaon status box. You can also view a snapshot of the relays condion on the above sub-tab. The relays are
numbered accordingly R
