17 Tempest®24 00 MasterBelt
The MasterBelt default is for Dynamic Slot Assignment. This means that when BeltSta ons log in to a MasterBelt, the
informa on about the BeltSta ons is displayed on the MasterBelt LCD screen in alpha-numeric order according to the
name of the BeltSta on. For example, “Dir” appears before “Light1,” which appears before “StgMgr,” but they can change
slots depending on which BeltSta ons are turned ON. If the default se ngs are used, nothing is necessary.
Adjus ng so that each BeltSta on always appears in the same posi on of the MasterBelt display is a two step process:
1. Advance to the MasterBelt’s “Slot Assignment” sec on of the “Tech Menu” and select
Sta c.
2. In each BeltSta on, advance to the “Base Slot” sec on of the “Tech Menu” and adjust each BeltSta on to a diff erent
slot (1 – 5). The BeltSta on designated to slot 1 will always appear on the far le of the MasterBelt display, with slot 2
appearing in the next posi on to the right, and so on.
In
Sta c Mode, if a BeltSta on is not turned ON, or is logged out due to being out of range, the MasterBelt LCD display
will not have a shadow box around the respec ve slot number.
A Mul ple MasterBelt system that uses iSelect Roaming must choose to use “Dynamic” slots to ensure that BeltSta ons can
move from MasterBelt to MasterBelt when roaming.
