9. If necessary, rinse the two fi lters using clear, lukewarm water. CAUTION: Do not
under any circumstances clean the fi lter in a washing machine or dishwasher
and do not use cleaning agents! Shake out any excess water. Let the fi lters dry
completely in the air before reinserting them.
10. If necessary, wipe the cyclone insert parts and the dust bin using a damp cloth.
11. When all the parts are dry, assemble the two cyclone insert parts again and turn the
pipe to secure it. CAUTION: Under no circumstances place damp device parts
into the dust bin!
12. Insert the foam fi lter into the cyclone insert.
13. Place the holder with the fl eece fi lter on the cyclone insert and tighten it by turning.
14. Insert the cyclone insert into the dust bin. Make sure that you insert the three catch-
es on the edge of the cyclone insert correctly into the right notches in the dust bin.
15. Place the lid onto the dust bin so that the ▼ arrow next to
the
symbol points to the line marking on the dust bin.
16. Close the lid until the ▼ arrow next to the
symbol points
to the line marking on the dust bin.
17. Then place the dust bin back into the device. Make sure
that the dust bin locks in place audibly.
Cleaning the HEPA Exhaust Air Filter
The HEPA exhaust air fi lter is located in the compartment underneath the vacuum
cleaner.
1. Press the fi lter compartment lid catch and remove the lid.
2. Remove the HEPA exhaust air fi lter.
3. Tap out the contents of the HEPA exhaust air fi lter over
a dust bin and brush off the loose dirt. If necessary,
thoroughly rinse the HEPA exhaust air fi lter using clear,
lukewarm water. CAUTION: Do not under any circum-
stances clean the fi lter in a washing machine or dish-
washer and do not use cleaning agents! Then shake
off any excess water and allow the fi lter to dry completely
in the air before reinserting it.
4. Wipe down the fi lter compartment using a damp cloth.
5. When all parts are dry, insert the HEPA exhaust air fi lter in
the fi lter compartment. Place it with the lattice side in the
opening in the fi lter compartment.
6. Place the lid onto the HEPA exhaust air fi lter compart-
ment. It must engage audibly.
