Dust fi lter
5. Open the dust bin cover by using the lever to push it up.
6. Take out the dust fi lter and the foam dust fi lter (B). If ne-
cessary, rinse the foam dust fi lter out thoroughly with
clean, lukewarm water. ATTENTION: Do not in any case
clean the fi lter in the washing machine or dishwasher!
Then shake off any remaining water and let the fi lter air
dry completely before reinstalling it.
7. The dust fi lter (A) may only be tapped out over a garbage
bin and not rinsed off with water.
8. Place the foam dust fi lter (B) back on the dust fi lter (A).

9. Rinse the plastic dust fi lter and the dust bin cover out thoroughly with clean, lukewarm
water. ATTENTION: Do not in any case clean the fi lter in the dishwasher! Then shake
off any remaining water and let the fi lter air dry completely before reinstalling it.
10. Place the dust fi lter back in the dust bin cover and close it. The lever must audibly
lock into place.
11. Place the dust fi lter cover with the dust fi lter back in the dust bin and turn it until fi rmly
tightened. The cover is properly in place when the mark on the dust bin is pointing
towards the closed lock symbol on the cover.
12. Then insert the dust bin back in the device. Make sure that the dust bin locks into
place properly.
Cleaning the exhaust fi lter
The exhaust fi lter is located in the compartment on the backside of the vacuum cleaner
(see chapter “Product contents and device overview”, section “Rear view”).
1. Press the catch toward the compartment cover and remove the cover.
2. Remove the exhaust fi lter from the compartment and its holder.
3. Tap the exhaust fi lter out over a garbage bin and brush off any loose dirt. If neces-
sary, wipe out the compartment cover
with a damp cloth.
4. If necessary, rinse out the exhaust fi lter thoroughly with clean, lukewarm water.
ATTENTION: Do not in any case clean the fi lter in the washing machine or
dishwasher! Then shake off any remaining water and let the fi lter air dry completely
before reinstalling it.
5. Once all parts are dry, place the exhaust fi lter back in the holder and then into the
fi lter compartment.
6. Fit the compartment cover again and press it down until it engages audibly.
