Cleaning the dust ﬁ lter

The dust ﬁ lter is located in the dust bin.

1. Remove the suction hose from the dust bin (see chapter “Assembly”, section “Insert-

ing/removing the hose”).

2. Push the release button on the dust bin and pull it out of the device by the handle.

3. Empty the dust bin as described in the the previous section.

4. Turn the dust bin cover to remove it. NOTE: Orientation

marks for the removal and placement of the cover are pro-

vided on the cover and dust bin. You can remove the cov-

er when the mark on the dust bin is pointing towards the

open lock symbol on the cover.

5. Pull the dust bin cover with the dust ﬁ lter out.

6. Turn the dust ﬁ lter to decouple it from the dust bin cover.

7. Tap out the dust ﬁ lter over a waste bin.

8. If necessary, rinse the dust ﬁ lter out thoroughly with clean, lukewarm water.

ATTENTION: Do not in any case clean the ﬁ lter in the washing machine or dish-

washer! Then shake off any remaining water and let the ﬁ lter air dry completely

before reinstalling it.

9. If necessary, wipe out the dust bin cover with a damp cloth.

10. Place the dust ﬁ lter back on the dust ﬁ lter cover and turn into place.

11. Place the dust ﬁ lter cover with the dust ﬁ lter back in the

dust bin and turn it until ﬁ rmly tightened. The cover is

properly in place when the mark on the dust bin is pointing

towards the closed lock symbol on the cover.

12. Then insert the dust bin back in the device. Make sure

that the dust bin locks into place properly.

Cleaning the exhaust ﬁ lter

The exhaust ﬁ lter is located in the compartment on the bottom of the vacuum cleaner

(see chapter “Product contents and device overview”, section “Rear view”).

1. Press the catch toward the compartment cover and remove the cover.

2. Remove the exhaust ﬁ lter from the compartment and its holder.

3. Tap the exhaust ﬁ lter out over a garbage bin and brush off any loose dirt. If neces-

sary, wipe out the compartment with a damp cloth.

4. If necessary, rinse out the exhaust ﬁ lter thoroughly with clean, lukewarm water.

ATTENTION: Do not in any case clean the ﬁ lter in the washing machine or

dishwasher! Then shake off any remaining water and let the ﬁ lter air dry completely

before reinstalling it.
