4. If you need to clean the plastic dust ﬁ lter, you have to remove the dust bin cover ﬁ rst by

turning it conterclockwise and pulling it off. NOTE: Orientation marks for the removal

and placement of the cover are provided on the cover and dust bin. You can remove

the cover when the ▼ mark on the lid is pointing towards the  mark on the dust bin.

5. Then, remove the dust bin cover from the plastic dust ﬁ l-

ter. The cover is sitting on the plastic dust ﬁ lter. In order to

remove it, push the cover down.

6. If necessary, thoroughly rinse the plastic dust ﬁ lter with

clear, lukewarm water. CAUTION: Do not under any cir-

cumstances clean the dust container in a washing

machine or dishwasher! Then shake off any excess wa-

ter and allow the dust container to dry completely in the

air.

7. If necessary, wipe the dust bin cover with a wet cloth and

place tht plastic dust ﬁ lter back into the dust bin cover.

Make sure that the ﬁ lter locks correctly into place.

8. Place the dust container lid with the plastic dust ﬁ lter back onto the dust container.

NOTE: Orientation marks for the removal and placement of the cover are provided

on the cover and dust bin. Place the lid on the dust bin. The ▼ mark on the lid has

to point to the  mark on the dust bin. Turn the lid clockwise until the ▼ mark on the

lid is pointing to the  mark on the dust bin.

9. Place the dust ﬁ lter back in the dust container lid. Close the dust container lid. Make

sure that the latch on the dust container lid is locked in place correctly.

10. Place the dust container into the device: Hold it by the handle and place the bot-

tom of the container into the device ﬁ rst. Then push the handle against the device

housing until the dust container is heard to lock in place. Hold the device by the

handle and lift it to check that the dust container is in the correct position.
