Cleaning the Dust Filter

The dust ﬁ lter is located in the dust container lid.

1. Detach the suction hose from the dust container (see „Assembly“ chapter, „Inser-

ting/Removing the Hose“ section).

2. Open the dust container lid by releasing the catch on the

handle and ﬂ ipping up the lid.

3. The dust ﬁ lter is located in the dust container lid. Remove

the dust ﬁ lter for cleaning.

4. The back of the dust ﬁ lter (D) consists of a black foam ﬁ l-

ter (E) which can be removed. Tap out the contents of the

dust ﬁ lter over a dustbin and brush off the loose dirt. If

necessary, wipe the dust ﬁ lter using a damp cloth. As re-

quired, rinse the foam ﬁ lter (E) using clear, lukewarm wa-

ter. CAUTION: Never clean the foam ﬁ lter in a washing

machine or dishwasher! Then press out the ﬁ lter and

allow it to dry completely in the air before reinserting it in

the dust ﬁ lter.

5. Only place the foam ﬁ lter back into the dust ﬁ lter when it is completely dry.

6. Insert the dust ﬁ lter in the dust container lid.

7. Close the dust container lid. Make sure that the latch on the dust container lid is

locked in place correctly.

8. Place the dust container into the device: Hold it by the handle and place the bot-

tom of the container into the device ﬁ rst. Then push the handle against the device

housing until the dust container is heard to lock in place. Hold the device by the

handle and lift it to check that the dust container is in the correct position.
