Turn the appliance off by pulling the mains plug out of the socket
if you are not using the appliance,
before removing oor pad,
before attaching or removing a nozzle,
before lling / emptying the water tank,
in a storm or
before you clean / store the appliance.
If you would like to remove the mains plug from the socket, do not pull on the power cable,
but always on the plug.
Caution: Damage to the appliance and property
Each time before using the appliance, check the oor pad for wear. The cloth may not be used
if it is visibly worn down or exhibits damages. Otherwise it could damage your oor.
Only use the appliance when it is functional and has been completely assembled and the oor
pad for cleaning the oor has been attached.
Only use accessories included in the product contents or exclusively those recommended by
the manufacturer.
Always work with suf cient lighting.
Do not insert anything in the appliance’s openings / nozzles and ensure that they are not plugged.
Never ll the appliance with cleaners or other additives. They may irreparably damage the
appliance and as such, the safe operation of the appliance can no longer be assured.
Never apply the vapour stream to one area for more than approximately 10 seconds.
Otherwise, it could damage the surface.
Surfaces, which have been treated with wax, may lose their wax coat due to heat and steam.
Do not over ll the water tank. Use tap or distilled water to ll the appliance. Other liquids may
cause damage to the appliance.
Never operate the appliance without water.
Do not allow the appliance to fall and do not subject it to strong percussions.
Do not subject the appliance to extreme temperatures, severe changes in temperature, direct
sunlight or moisture.
Empty the water tank completely before you store the appliance.
Store the appliance in a dry, clean, and cool place.
Warranty conditions
Defects arising due to improper handling, damage, calci cation or attempts at repair are excluded
from the guarantee. This also applies to normal wear and tear of the individual components.
