Cleaning the Device and Accessories
ATTENTION!
Empty the dust container when it reaches the Max mark and clean the cyclone insert
and lters regularly in order to prevent the motor from overheating.
Prior to cleaning the device, always pull the mains plug out of the socket.
Keep the device, the mains cable and the mains plug away from water or other liq-
uids in order to avoid the risk of electrical shock. When cleaning the vacuum cleaner
make sure that no liquid gets into the device. Only the lters may be cleaned with
water. However, when tted back into the device they must be completely dry.
The lters are not suitable for the washing machine, dishwasher or dryer! Only air
dry the lters and do not under any circumstances use a hair dryer.
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaners or cleaning pads for cleaning. They
could damage the surface.
Over time the lters may become discoloured. This is normal and does not
affect the functionality.
Emptying the Dust Container
1. Hold the dust container handle and pull the dust container
out of the motor unit.
2. Hold the dust container over an open dustbin. The dis-
tance between the dust container and the dustbin should
be as short as possible to ensure that the dust from the
dust container falls into the dustbin only and does not spill
into the environment.
3. Press the button to open the dust container (12) (to the
side). The bottom of the dust container will open and the
dirt will fall out.
4. Close the bottom of the dust container again. The fasten-
er must be heard to engage in place.
5. Plug the closed dust container into the motor unit until it is
heard to engage in the locking mechanism.
