Troubleshooting
If the appliance is not working properly, please check whether you are able to rectify the prob-
lem yourself fi rst. Otherwise contact customer service.
Do not attempt to repair a defective appliance yourself.
Problem Potential cause/solution
The handle and the
handlebar do not fi t
together/the handle
does not lock into
place.
• It is possible that the cable winder becomes twisted at the handle
during the production process. This prevents the handle from
locking into the handlebar. Turn the cable winder slightly at the
handle until the handlebar fi ts directly into the opening. When
the latch locks into place, the handle has been securely connected
with the handlebar.
The appliance is not
working. The power
LEDs are not illumi-
nating.
• Is the plug properly connected with the socket?
• Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
• Check the fuse for your mains connection.
No steam is released.
• Have you pushed the steam On/Off switch (4) on the front of
the main unit? Please note: The steam activating switch on the
back (13) is deactivated when the handle bar has been inserted.
• When being used as a hand held steam clener, the steam On/Off
switch (4) on the front of the main unit has to be activated. The
steam activating switch on the back (13) does not work when the
steam on/off switch is not activated!
• Has the steam quantity been set high enough? Turn the knob for
the steam quantity control clockwise to increase the amount of
steam.
• The appliance is still not operational. The appliance must heat up
for a few seconds until steam can be emitted.
• The water tank is empty. Fill the water tank (see chapter “Filling
the water tank”).
• Has the tank been properly inserted in the main unit? Check to
make sure it is properly seated.
• The nozzle is plugged. Clean the nozzle.
