Cleaning and Storage
CAUTION!
❐ Make sure that the device is switched off before cleaning it.
❐ Never immerse the motor housing or charger in water or other liquids.
❐ The device must not be connected to the charger during cleaning of the collecting container.
❐ Never use soap or other cleaning products for cleaning the dust fi lter. This would cause
damage to the fi lter.
❐ Only reassemble the device once all of the parts are completely dry!
❐ Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the housing. They could
damage the surfaces. If necessary, clean the housing using a slightly damp, soft cloth.
Emptying the Collecting Container and Cleaning the Filter
1. Hold the device fi rmly by the handle and keep it as horizontal as possible.
2. Press the release button and remove the collecting container.
3. Remove the dust fi lter from the collecting container.
4. Empty the collecting container into a rubbish bin. Tap the fi lter out over the rubbish bin.
5. If necessary, clean the collecting container and dust fi lter with clear, lukewarm water.
6. Let all parts dry completely before you put them back together.
CAUTION: Never insert the fi lter while it is still damp.
The device is assembled in the reverse order.
