Meaning of the Symbols in These Instructions
All safety instructions are marked with this symbol. Read these instructions carefully
and follow them to avoid injury to persons or damage to property.
Tips and recommendations are marked with this symbol.
Safety Instructions
Intended Use
❐ This device is intended to be used for vacuum cleaning on dry surfaces and is also suitable for
sucking up small quantities of liquid or wet dirt.
❐ The device is NOT suitable for sucking up highly fl ammable or combustible liquids. You
should also not vacuum up glowing or burning ash, matches or cigarettes.
❐ This device is for personal use only and is not intended for commercial applications.
❐ Use the device only as described in the operating instructions. Any other use is deemed to
be improper.
Danger of Injury
❐ Keep the device and packaging material away from children and animals.
❐ This device should not be used by people (including children) with impaired sensory or
mental faculties or who do not have adequate experience and / or knowledge of such
devices, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety, or have received
instructions from such a person on how to use the device. Children must be supervised in
order to ensure that they do not play with the device.
❐ The device should not be used if it is damaged.
❐ Never hold the nozzles close to parts of your body or animals during use. They could
become stuck to the device. Should the vacuum cleaner become stuck, switch the device off
immediately using the On / Off switch.
❐ The device should only be used and stored out of the reach of children and animals. Improper
use can lead to injuries and electric shock. The mains adapter must also be kept out of the
reach of children.
❐ To prevent electric shocks, the device and the mains adapter may not be completely
immersed in water.
❐ Do not touch the mains adapter or the cable with wet hands when the adapter is connected
to the mains power.

❐ Do not use the device if highly fl ammable gases are present in the air.
