4. For dry-ironing move the steam quantity control (13) to position 0; for steam-ironing

move it to 1 – 2 as required. NOTE: Steam-ironing is only possible from the tempera-

ture setting ••.

5. You can now start ironing. Move the bottom of the iron (8) back and forth on the fabric

until it is smooth.

6. When the water reservoir is empty, steam will no longer be produced. Follow the

instructions in the "Filling the Water Reservoir" section to top it up again.

Steam Blast / Vertical Steam-Ironing

CAUTION!

• Make sure when doing vertical ironing that there is plenty of space around the item

of clothing which is to be ironed. You may only perform vertical ironing if the item of

clothing is hanging on a hanger and cannot come into contact with other garments,

objects, people or animals.

• Iron the laundry only in places where heat and moisture cannot do any damage, e.g.

NOT in front of wallpaper, windows or mirrors.

In addition to conventional steam-ironing, the iron can also emit a strong blast of steam,

e.g. for smoothing stubborn creases or textiles which are hanging up.

1. Make sure that the water reservoir has been ﬁ lled and the device has heated up.

2. Press the

button for a steam blast (15), move the bot-

tom of the iron (8) a little in front of or on the fabric and

then release the button again. NOTE: When performing

vertical steam-ironing on delicate fabrics, hold the iron a

few centimetres away from the fabric.

3. Wait a few seconds before you press the button again.

NOTE: The lower the ironing temperature, the weaker the

production of steam and the longer it takes for more steam

to be produced.

Spray Function The spray function is suitable, for example, for moistening delicate

textiles which cannot be steam-ironed. This function is independent of the steam function

and is possible at any temperature.

• Make sure that the water reservoir has been ﬁ lled. Press the

spray button (14) a

few times. Water will be sprayed through the spray nozzle (11) onto the fabric.

Note: This function is independent of the steam function and is possible at any tem-

perature.

After Use

1. Once you have ﬁ nished ironing, move the steam quantity control to position 0 and the

temperature control to position MIN.

2. Place the device upright on the base.

3. Remove the mains plug from the plug socket.

4. Allow the bottom of the iron to cool down completely.
