Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact the cus-
tomer service department.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
Problem Possible cause / solution
The device does
not work. The con-
trol lamp (2) does
not light up.
• Is the mains plug inserted in the plug socket correctly? Cor-
rect the fi t of the mains plug.
• Is the plug socket defective? Try another plug socket.
• Check the fuse of the mains connection.
• Has the On / Off switch (5) been pressed correctly? To switch
on the device, hold down the On / Off switch for approx. 3
seconds.
Water emerges
from the steam
bottom (9).
• The temperature has fallen below the operating temperature.
Wait until the control lamp is constantly lit up before pressing
the steam release button (3).
No steam is pro-
duced.
• The water reservoir (13) is empty. Top up the water reservoir.
• The device has not yet reached operating temperature. Wait
until the control lamp is constantly lit.
